The Winchendon Courier welcomes letters from readers about the town and the paper.
How to send one
Email it to editor@thewinchendoncourier.com with "Letter" in the subject. Include your full name, your town and a phone number. We print your name and town; we use the phone only to confirm you wrote it.
What we look for
- About 300 words or fewer.
- About local matters, or something the paper published.
- Your own words, sent only to us.
- Facts that can be checked.
How letters are handled
We may edit letters for length, clarity, accuracy and taste, and we don't publish every letter. We don't publish anonymous letters, letters signed for a group by someone who isn't its spokesperson, or letters that attack a private person. During an election, letters about candidates may be limited and must arrive before a deadline the paper announces.
Letters are the writers' views, not The Winchendon Courier's. By sending one you agree we may publish it in print and online, as described in our terms (thewinchendoncourier.com/fr/terms).
